KGY Series High-Frequency Switching Power Supply is mainly applied to the electroplating, communication, electric utility industry, accumulator recharging and Other fields that require direct current of high quality. It also plays an important role in the process of producing circuit board and plating rare metal.

l High Efficiency, Accuracy and Low Ripple Wave:
Having adopted advance IGBT and PWM technology, it may improve overall working efficiency, its accuracy and low ripple wave. The ripple ration of outputting current is low than 1%. Either fluctuant network of voltage or change of load may not influence its quality of outputting voltage. The product has such virtues as high power factors, little network pollution and no influence.

3. PRINCIPLE OF WORK
1) control cureent
KGY series high-frequency switching power supply adopt to SMR switching technology,The circuit is mainly composed of recitification and filter current ,bridge converting circuit,Variational voltage and rectification current circuit,etc.main circuit is reliable ,and is strong to resit influence. please see the principle figure below:
2) protecting circuit
l when work.if suddent output short-circuit current causes instant overload current , will damage switch semiconductor parts.the protecting equipment of over-circuit can avoid that to happen and extend the semiconductor’s life.
l Protection of lack of phrase
If current web or circuit cause the lack of phrase,the proteiction equipment Will cut down the controlling circuit until eliminate the malfunction.
l Protection of temperature
If the temperature is over high in the rectifier ,the protection equipment Will cut down the controlling circuit until eliminate the malfunction.
l Weak restart
Protection system when the equipment starts to run,in order to prevent Suddent strong circuit impact.
4. APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
●Cooling manner: forced air cooling or water cooling
● wind speed:4m/s
● temperature of working environments:
forced air cooling:-5°C-- +45°C; water cooling:5°C--+45°C
● Relative humidity: < 85%
● Use under an elevation of 1000 meters; please connect with factory or distributors if you have to use the product above an elevation of 1000 meters.
● Running requirement: under the condition of constant current/constant voltage
● No explosive or electric dust, no corrosive gas in the operating environment; good ventilation; never place the product in direct sunlight and damp; the product and the plating tank should be separated by walls. (See figure 2)
● Please check whether the product connects correctly with alternating current power supply before you turn on it.
Input alternating current power supply:
Single phase---230VAC±10% ; Three phase---380VAC±10%
● Zero load test: Before you connect the product with load, please turn the “output adjustment” button up to maximum anticlockwise, and turn the “function switch” button to the “constant voltage” position, then close the air-break switch. When the power indication on the front panel stops blinking, please turn the “On/Off ” button to the “on” position. (If the “On/Off ” button is already in the “on” position, you should turn it to the “off” position, and then turn it to the “on” position again.) At that time, the power indication will light, and you can adjust output voltage continuously within the regulated range by using the “Output adjustment” button.
● Normal load test: Connect the product with load, and select working status by using the “Function switch” button, then turn on the product. You can adjust output voltage/current continuously within the regulated range by using the “Output adjustment” button.
WARNING: DO NOT CONNECT “+/-” TWO OUTPUT TERMINAL OF THE PRODUCT DIRECTLY.
● When the product is working, if you find zero shown on the voltammeter or ampere meter and the power indication blinking continuously, which indicates the protective system has started to work toward overload current/short-circuit current /lack of phase, you should cut off power immediately. Do not go on working except you solve the problem.
● Examine weather the fan work properlyand sound well. And weather the shell of the equipment Is gounded well. the position put the power supply should be good ventilation . The ventilation place never can be blocked by any baririer or else , can’t get the effect of heat-dispersing and decrease the power supply’s life.
●Special advicement: the specification choose for the high frequency switch power supply should accord with the effective working voltage.( please refer to the figure as below.)
7. CARE AND MAINTENANCE
1) when start this equipment, first check if damaged by vibration ,loose,and become damp and so on because of delievery. Don't start to use before you solve the problems,
2) User should maintain the product regularly according to working environment.Maintenance can be made by the following procedure:
· Dust all components of the product with dry cloth or soft brush.
· Examine whether the fan work properly and sound well.
· Check whether plug-in units connect well, and clean oxide on the connections if necessary.
· Check whether output terminal is loose.
· Check whether the bolt is loose.
WARNING: You should wait at least 1 minute after power cut off before starting the maintenance.
8. APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS AND MAINTENANCE OF WATER-COOLING EQUIPMENT
1) Requirements of cooling-water pipes
Cooling-water pipes should be connected well and can undergo at least 1.8Mpa working pressure. No leak is necessary.
2) Requirements of cooling-water’s quality (under25°C)
· If the rated voltage≤ 630V, electric conductivity≤ 0.5mS/m
· If the rated voltage>630V, electric conductivity≤ 0.1mS/m
NOTES: if you use nature water as cooling-water, the quality should accord with the following requirements:
· Electric conduction rate≤ 0.04 s/m
· PH: 6~9
· Water-immiscible solvent≤1000mg/L
· CaCO3≤ 450mg/L
